Taylor Metal offers progressive press stamping services for those parts requiring more intricate and precise operations. It is especially useful for parts requiring a combination of bending, cutting and piercing.
With progressive pressing, we deploy a series of stamping stations to perform multiple simultaneous operations, allowing for more efficient production.

Progressive Press Capabilities
Taylor Metal maintains 16 progressive presses (from 60 tons to 1,000 tons). We are able work with thicknesses ranging from .015” to .250” using the following materials:
- Carbon Steel
- High Strength Steel
- Aluminum
- Stainless Steel
Servo Press Capabilities
Taylor Metal maintains 4 servo presses; one 700 ton, two 330 ton, and one 275 ton. The advantage is the ability to control the press speed at any given point during the stroke. This control is important for the drawing of steel.
